Michael Blair
Development Director
Focuses on the project execution from planning and budgeting through design and construction. Responsible for managing architects, engineers, contractors and others to ensure successful completion and delivery.
Before joining Pollack Partners, Blair was a Partner and Senior Development Manager with Southeast Capital Partners, a multifamily and mixed-use real estate firm focused on developments in metropolitan Atlanta. He managed multiple projects with over 750 units totaling more than $200 million in development costs. Those projects included apartments, seniors communities, high-rise condominiums, townhomes, condominium conversions and mixed-use developments. Blair was responsible for all aspects of project execution including planning, budgeting, zoning, permitting, marketing, design and construction. Michael also served as Construction Manager on two projects, in addition to his Development Manager role.
Previously, Blair was a Senior Project Manager with The Winter Construction Company, a large general contractor with a wide variety of markets in Atlanta and throughout the southeast. He managed multiple projects including multifamily, commercial, interiors, retail, education, renovation and historic preservation. These projects totaled in excess of $250 million in construction value. As Senior Project Manager, he was responsible for all aspects of the projects, including budgeting, buyout, contracts and purchase orders, monthly reporting and forecasting, scheduling and turnover upon completion.
Blair has a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Science from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Science degree in Construction Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
